April 30, 2020 | 9-12 PM | 1-4 PM | 600 Park Offices Drive, RTP Facilitated by: Bell Leadership Selecting Achievers: Build Your Skills to
Companies and executives routinely claim that people constitute the most important factor for the success of an organization. Yet selection practices often fall short in attracting and retaining top talent. Poor selection can create extreme costs that extend far beyond the hard numbers.
Selecting great people is one of the most important actions leaders take to create successful and growing organizations. Talent acquisition is more than finding people with the right technical skills and resume work-experience for the job. Leaders must find people with great skills, the commitment to work hard in a particular role and demonstrate the personality skills to work together with their team.
In this workshop, participants will learn foundational principles about selection and gain skills to select exceptional team members.
How to evaluate the specific skill sets required for optimal job performance
A method to define the “job” for a candidate, along with your current team’s roles
The ability to evaluate the “match” between a candidate and your job
Interviewing skills to get to the “core” of a candidate
For more than 50 years, Bell Leadership has worked with companies to refine and redirect their selection systems to create enhanced results. Participants will work with fellow course-members to develop skills that will make a significant impact in your selection systems immediately. You will leave the program with a proven and powerful framework for attracting, developing, and retaining great people.
