“I have found the CED Life Science Conference to be the leading regional conference for life science business networking,” said Matt Kane, CEO, Precision BioSciences. “I can depend on making valuable new connections and gaining industry insight.”

Precision BioSciences was one of 14 companies chosen for live on-stage Showcase presentations at the CED Life Science Conference 2016. Of the fourteen Showcase Companies, five have raised a combined $30 million in the last nine months.

“Selected Showcase, Lightning Round, and Innovation Room companies are provided an exclusive platform at the CED Life Science Conference to display their capabilities, report on progress, and highlight successes. The CED team helps these entrepreneurs make numerous, valuable connections with investors and partners leading up to the event and in person at the conference,” said Jay Bigelow, CED’s Director of Entrepreneurship. “We understand that entrepreneurs are often ‘heads down,’ focused on building their companies, but this type of opportunity for exposure is vital to company growth. Company participation in the CED Life Science Conference provides exceptional value for the amount of time and money spent.”

As one of the nation’s longest-running entrepreneurial events, the CED Life Science Conference boasts globally recognized industry leaders as speakers, showcases the most exciting and innovative North Carolina-based life science companies, and connects these companies to a diverse group of venture capital and corporate investors via ample networking opportunities and sophisticated Partnering software. Partnering allows attendees to schedule private one-on-one meetings to capitalize on networking at the conference; it is included with registration for entrepreneurs, investors, sponsors, and university professionals.
