CED Opens Applications for 15 Scholarships to BOS USA 2024

CED is excited to announce the opening of applications for 15 scholarships to the Business of Software (BoS) USA 2024 conference, taking place in Raleigh, NC, from September 23 – 25. This marks the third year of our partnership with BOS, reflecting our commitment to fostering growth and education within North Carolina’s tech community.

Our collaboration with BOS highlights the importance of an interconnected ecosystem where founders, investors, and partners work together to drive innovation. By offering these scholarships, CED aims to provide North Carolina’s tech entrepreneurs with invaluable opportunities to connect with global thought leaders, gain insights, and propel their businesses to new heights.

Why Attend?

BoS is known for its deep-dive sessions with industry leaders, offering a unique format that promotes meaningful dialogue and practical learning. Past attendees have found tremendous value in the conference.

“I attended BoS in 2023 and the content at the conference was magnificent. It helped me understand where I need to focus. If you are a tech entrepreneur and get the opportunity to go to BoS, I would grab it with both hands. It’s the best tech conference I’ve been to.”
– Tim Jones, Founder & CEO, Jobvious (CED Scholarship recipient)

The conference also features engaging speakers and a dynamic environment that fosters a sense of community among participants. Interested in applying for a scholarship? Applications are now open! Apply for the scholarship here and seize your chance to shape your company’s future.

What makes BOS unique:

  • Deep dives with industry leaders: BoS stands out with its long-format sessions, allowing speakers to delve deeply into their topics, fostering meaningful dialogue and workshopping. A few memorable sessions from 2023 included Greg Bauges’ live demo of visual AI tools (skateboarding cats in Downtown Raleigh, anyone?); Bob Moesta’s session on the Jobs To Be Done framework provided a practical guide on increasing effective communication while decreasing product delays and driving sales growth. Lauren Kelly of OPEX Engine guided audience members through benchmarks of top-performing SaaS companies and their impact on valuation.

Most sessions are recorded for you to revisit time and time again! Interested in listening to some of the past content? Visit the BoS website here or sign up for their newsletter to have future content delivered straight to your inbox.

  • A Dynamic and Engaging Experience: The conference’s dynamic MC, Mark Littlewood, with his distinctive style and impressive off-the-cuff speaking skills, keeps the energy levels high and makes the event even more engaging. His ability to remember every attendee’s name during Q&A sessions adds a personal touch that exemplifies the close-knit community feel of BOS.
  • A Global Perspective: BoS attracts founders and CEOs from around the globe, providing a unique opportunity to gain insights from a diverse group of savvy entrepreneurs. Meeting peers from New Zealand, Canada, Russia, Latvia, Belgium, India, and the UK reminds us of the importance of understanding the global marketplace in which we all compete. This global perspective is invaluable for making strategic decisions and driving business growth.
