Application deadline is approaching for CED’s Life Science GRO Incubator
We are a few weeks away from selecting our next GRO Incubator, Life Sciences Cohort that kicks off in January 2022. Back by popular demand, CED has reinstated its proven incubator series that supports entrepreneurs building high-growth, high-impact companies in RTP.
A few graduate companies you might recognize include; Precision Biosciences, Liquidia, Advanced Liquid Logic and Zen Bio, Founders of these companies all leveraged this curriculum to develop their business plans.
The winter 2022 cohort will be focused on early-stage life science companies in crop science, human biologics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and animal health. The program is structured specifically on the business strategies of starting and scaling companies. The curriculum includes topics like funding options, IP and regulatory strategy, cash management and building an effective investor story/pitch, etc. Each week we’ll hear both from a domain expert on the topic and from experienced entrepreneurs who have “been there done that” sharing the unvarnished truth of their journey.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of getting to know some of the graduates of our prior programs. Founders like; Moise Khayrallah, Giles Shih, Peyton Anderson and Rich West. During my conversations, I have found each credit CED with helping them make a key connection that provided expertise or advice that made all the difference in the success of the business. Participants in GRO will have the opportunity to do the same.
