When I first joined the Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) as a Startup TNT Associate in the Marketing Track, I was excited not only to dive into the world of marketing but also to gain a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Triangle. My dream of launching my own startup one day has always fueled my interest in entrepreneurship, and this role at CED provided the perfect opportunity to blend my passions for marketing and startups. This has been an incredible experience, offering me a chance to apply what I’ve learned in classes to real-world projects with real impact.
Throughout the semester, I’ve had the opportunity to help create marketing assets for CED events, craft LinkedIn posts, conduct brand and media outreach audits, and contribute to CED’s rebranding efforts. One of the most rewarding aspects of working at CED has been building connections with a team of inspiring, successful individuals who are driven to make meaningful changes. I’ve also loved meeting the other Associates from different schools, each with their own areas of focus, but sharing a common interest in entrepreneurship. Attending events like CED’s Investor Fly-In and GRO Demo Day introduced me to key players in the local ecosystem, and allowed me to see firsthand the wide-ranging support CED provides to emerging entrepreneurs.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be returning to CED in January as a Senior Associate in the Marketing Track, and I look forward to expanding my role and deepening my contributions. I’m excited to keep working with a team that is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and to continue learning from those who inspire me every day.
