Venture Connect Summit 2020 – Postponed
RTP, NC March 5, 2020 – After much consideration and upon release of new developments from the CDC in regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19), today CED and its executive committee has decided to postpone Venture Connect Summit 2020 to a later date which is to be determined.
The health and safety of our attendees is our primary concern. The CDC has made recommendations which include, providing masks, an isolation space for the sick, and limited in-person contact. It has also come to our attention that many organizations are placing travel bans for their employees. CED feels that this is the best decision for everyone.
The Summit is unique in its ability to attract attendees from across the country, secure thought leaders within the tech and life science industries to present to our audience and showcase the state’s most noteworthy ventures that are quickly gaining traction in our region. This decision was not taken lightly, however it is imperative that the decision be made early enough to ensure that those who are traveling have the time to make the proper arrangements.
The CED team has already begun preparations to move the event to another date in 2020. Your registrations and sponsorship will automatically transfer to the new dates, which we plan to release by the end of the month. Refund considerations will be made after new dates have been secured.
Thank you in advance for your understanding. It is CED’s mission to provide a quality experience that is safe for everyone in attendance. More information will be forthcoming.
