CED will officially become the first tenant in The Frontier’s 600 building on October 1, 2018.

DURHAM, NC, May 1, 2018 – The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) today announced the decision to move its office location to The Frontier in Research Triangle Park. CED will officially become the first tenant in The Frontier’s 600 building on October 1, 2018.

“In order for our organization to most effectively serve the region, we need to be in a central location,” said Ravila Gupta, President and CEO of CED. “We are thankful to have been an early tenant of American Underground and part of the entrepreneurial community in downtown Durham since 2010. This isn’t goodbye! Our staff will continue to spend time with companies located in AU just as we serve entrepreneurs in other entrepreneurial spaces throughout the Triangle.”

Since 1984, CED has been connecting entrepreneurial companies with high-value resources to accelerate business growth. Staff includes nine full-time employees who will all be based out of The Frontier.

“The Frontier will be our new home base, but the team will continue to spend lots of time out in the community meeting with entrepreneurs and collaborating with partners. The location in RTP allows flexibility to commute throughout the Triangle on a daily basis, and provides a convenient destination for outer region investors and other visitors to reach us.”

“The Frontier campus is expanding into two additional buildings,” says Scott Levitan, President and CEO of the Research Triangle Foundation. “CED is our first tenant at The Frontier 600 building.  We welcome this organization back to RTP, and are excited to promote their continued engagement with companies in the Triangle Region.”

On May 15, CED is hosting its quarterly Member Meet-Up in the atrium of The Frontier’s 800 building. The event is free, exclusively for active CED member companies (RSVP required). After moving in late fall, CED plans to host an Open House event at the new offices which will be free for the entrepreneurial community.
