RTP, NC, September 7, 2022 — The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) announces GRO Demo Day for its’ summer cohort, this event will be held in-person, Thursday, October 6 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Pendo’s new HQ at 301 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC 27603.

GRO is a twelve-week incubator program aimed at supporting high-growth, high-impact companies looking to grow their venture through valuable programming and coaching. GRO Demo Day is an opportunity for companies to share their story and vision for an exciting new venture. “Demo Day allows these companies to pitch to the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem,” Jay Bigelow said. “They have spent 12 weeks working towards launch and are looking for customers, partners and investors,” he added. “It takes a village to build a great company, and GRO Demo Days are a chance for the broader entrepreneurial village to see these new additions.”
PwC is sponsoring this Demo Day.
“PwC US has been a proud sponsor of CED and the work it does to build and sustain a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem here in North Carolina for decades,” says Garret Tripp, Partner at PwC. “I am excited to see what this newest crop of ventures is working on.”
GRO incorporates the foundations of iContact Founder Ryan Allis’s Ecademy – Entrepreneurship Course. Each week a domain expert presents important information on useful topics like: effective customer discovery, securing your first customers, financial models, go-to-market strategy, venture funding v bootstrapping, and compensating early employees. In addition, GRO has special guest speakers, entrepreneurs from the CED network, who share their entrepreneurial journal story and experience. Participants of GRO are guided 1:1 via a team of experienced coaches.
“We receive support to execute this program from both sides of our network. Successful founders who once leveraged CED resources for their own ventures, now pay-it-forward as our mentor-coaches,” says Kelly Rowell, CEO at CED, “balanced by corporate partners, like PwC, who invest dollars that enable us to deliver a quality program.”
Please join us to celebrate and support the latest GRO Incubator cohort.
