PRESS RELEASE: CED Announces Companies selected to Pitch at Venture Connect 2023

Research Triangle Park, NC, February 21, 2023 – The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) today announced the Tech and Biotech companies that have been selected to present at Venture Connect 2023, to be held March 29-30, in Research Triangle Park – North Carolina.

The 2023 selection of companies represents the future and scope of Tech and Life Science industries, with a record number of participants, totaling 180. Selected companies will take the stage to present their big ideas in front of an audience of investors, sponsors, and fellow entrepreneurs. Venture Connect provides these entrepreneurs with brand awareness and visibility to one of the fastest growing ecosystems in the country.

“Thanks to tremendous support from our partners throughout the innovation ecosystem, we had more applications to present at Venture Connect than ever before,” says Hunter Young, CED’s Head of Capital. “While the core of the selected group is from the Southeast, we are excited to have companies attending from California and New York, and as far as Europe and Asia, that see North Carolina as a natural expansion market. Our goal is to always give a platform to share their story and vision to as many innovative companies as possible, and we are confident we will execute on that mission at the end of March.”

Presenting companies were chosen by a selection committee made up of community members, including active angel investors, local and regional venture capital firms, community and corporate partners. With the addition of the presenting companies, CED anticipates a record number of attendees, companies, and sponsors onsite at 42 Moore Drive, in Research Triangle Park.
