Russ Cobb

As chief of Growth and Business Operations, Cobb works closely with other members of the global executive leadership team to align and enable the company to achieve strategic goals and business priorities.  In this role, Cobb provides focused leadership for strategy development and execution, business planning, and corporate development; cross-functional business operations and performance management; and strategic alliances and channels.

Cobb has spent more than 15 years in the software industry.  Prior to joining SAS, he spent 11 years in management consulting with Marakon Associates and Accenture, where he specialized in corporate and business unit strategy development for multinational clients in a variety of industries.  Throughout his career at SAS, Cobb has held numerous leadership roles related to strategy, marketing, strategic partnerships and business development.  Cobb holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BS in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University.
