CED Tech Venture Conference 2017 - Lightning Round, Demo Room
Year Founded: 2016
Sideline is fantasy sports betting - a free & legal app that lives at the intersection of sports betting and fantasy sports. Our users are obsessed with the ability to make legal sports bets using our unique gameplay. Instead of losing money to the house, users play head-to-head against friends in a points-based, season-long fantasy league (money exchanged on the side). Built for the social era, the Sideline app includes in-app messaging for trash talk and sharable analytics for heightened competition, creating a fantasy sports ecosystem all within the app.
Sideline's initial launch is for the NFL, with beta games for NCAA football and the NBA coming in the fall. All games we create are tailored to each specific sport, with the philosophy that no two sports are alike so no two games should be either.
