The Next 10 Years of Life Science Innovation to be Unveiled At the CED Life Science Conference 2015

Top industry leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs will converge to explore “#TheNext10” years of life science innovation at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) Life Science Conference, March 3–4 in Raleigh, N.C.

The 2015 conference will cover the latest developments and trends in patient advocacy, personalized medicine, digital health, and venture funding and their transformative effect on the life science landscape over the next decade. The conference, which attracts nearly 1,000 industry, research, investor and business organizations, will feature some of the most celebrated names in life science:

  • Herb Boyer, co-founder of Genentech
  • John Lechleiter, CEO, president, & chairman, Eli Lilly & Co.
  • Dennis Gillings, founder and executive chairman, Quintiles

Several of the country’s most notable investors will also attend and take the stage:

  • Steve Bloch, general partner, Canaan Partners
  • Leslie Bottorff, managing director, GE Ventures
  • Fred Cohen, partner and managing director, TPG Biotech

The conference will showcase 13 of North Carolina’s most disruptive and exciting life science innovators, along with 50 of the top emerging companies in the region chosen to demonstrate in #TheNext10 Innovation Room, open at select times throughout the conference.

The widely attended conference enables North Carolina life science entrepreneurs to connect with hundreds of venture capital, angel, and strategic investors from around the nation. The conference is presented in partnership with the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and NCBIO. It will be held March 3–4 at the Raleigh Convention Center.
