About the Conference

The Council for Entrepreneurial Development is hosting the 27th annual CED Life Science Conference on February 27-28, 2018 in Raleigh, NC. As the premier life science event in the Southeast, the conference attracts nearly 1,000 attendees including trailblazing entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, and industry visionaries from across the nation. This highly-anticipated gathering of the life science community boasts a first-class agenda featuring game-changing thought leadership from keynote speakers and expert panels, showcases the most exciting and innovative NC-based life science companies, and connects these companies to a diverse group of venture capital and corporate investors through high-value networking opportunities including one-on-one partnering software.

The CED Life Science Conference is presented in partnership with the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and NCBIO.

70 Entrepreneurial Companies to be featured On Stage & in the Innovation Room

Showcase and Lightning Round companies will share their story and present their business live on stage at the conference. Conference attendees will have the opportunity for in-person networking with the on-stage presenting companies in the Innovation Room, which will also exhibit over 20 additional companies. The selected Showcase, Lightning Round, and Innovation Room companies represent a diversity of life science sub-sectors, including: biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare IT/digital health, diagnostics, and agbio.

In addition to the selected companies, a handful of "CED Alumni" will utilize the conference as a platform to publicly release exclusive, newsworthy updates live on the main stage. No, any unauthorized recording of the CED Life Science Conference sessions or events is strictly prohibited.

Will anyone be taking pictures during the conference?

Yes, pictures will be taken during the conference. By registering for the conference, you acknowledge that there is a possibility your picture may be taken.
