Why did you start your business in North Carolina?
I'm from North Carolina originally and wanted to disprove all the pundits that claim you have to be in Silicon Valley to build a successful startup.
What is the best part about running your business in your community?
Our headquarters is in downtown Durham, which has many of the advantages of a big city (talent, restaurants, entertainment, lots of startups) but with few of the downsides such as over-congestion and a high cost of living.
What do you believe your North Carolina community has that other startup hubs can’t offer?
Access to great talent, a supportive community, convenient location for business or travel, and a reasonable cost of living.
