CED Honors Entrepreneurial Excellence Award Winners

CED Presents Annual Awards on June 5 at Durham’s American Tobacco Historic District

June 6, 2008, Research Triangle Park, NC - The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) honored area entrepreneurs and high-growth companies during the organization’s 22nd annual Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards on June 5, at the American Tobacco Historic District in Durham, NC. Over 300 people attended the celebration to show their support for North Carolina’s entrepreneurial community.

"The climate for entrepreneurs has never been stronger in North Carolina," said CED Chairperson Mary Musacchia. “This was clear at CED’s annual awards celebration which honored entrepreneurial success stories such as BEECo, Inc., an RTI International spin out; iContact Corp., a leading email marketing service provider; and those who give back to the entrepreneurial community like Brooks Malone, Jason Caplain and Kent Christison.”
