CED Accepting Opportunity 2007 Presenter Applications
Application Deadline is July 27 for Companies Across Southeast & Mid-Atlantic; Early-Stage Presentations and Speed Dating Will Match Start-ups with Investors
June 6, 2007, Research Triangle Park, N.C. – The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) is now accepting online applications from Southeast and Mid-Atlantic companies interested in presenting at CED’s 5th annual Opportunity conference, set for September 10-11, 2007, at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort in Wrightsville Beach, N.C.
The final application deadline is scheduled for July 27. Early-stage companies seeking angel funding and/or their first round of institutional investment are invited to submit a business plan for evaluation and possible inclusion at Opportunity 2007.
Companies can apply for one of the following at Opportunity 2007:
- Early Stage Presentation: 10-minute investor presentation for a company seeking first round angel or venture funding.
- Start-up Speed Dating: pre-seed start-ups meet in a fast-paced 3 minute rotating session with investors.
In addition, CED’s Opportunity 2007 will feature Curbside Consulting sessions, expert speakers and concurrent panels that are relevant to businesses of all stages and high-growth industries. Conference attendees will experience multiple networking opportunities with angel investors, entrepreneurs and service professionals.
