CED Launches Job Board
New Feature Connects Fast-Growing Companies with Human Capital
May 1, 2007, Research Triangle Park, NC – The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) has launched a job board at http://jobs.cednc.org to connect CED member companies with positions to fill to candidates seeking employment in the region’s fast growing entrepreneurial sector.
The CED Job Board – developed in partnership with Raleigh-based Web design firm hesketh.com/inc. – offers CED members the opportunity to upload an unlimited number of positions free of charge as a member benefit. The listings are updated real-time with the most recent postings listed first.
All visitors to the CED Web site can browse available jobs and sort postings by company, job title, location and other categories.
“The CED Web site is a first-stop for talent – whether local or national – with the passion to work for entrepreneurial companies. The job board is a natural progression and an asset to the community, given CED’s national reach in the entrepreneurial, venture capital and technology sectors,” said Heather Hesketh, founder and CEO of hesketh.com/inc.
“Access to qualified employees is always the most significant concern for high-growth entrepreneurs in CED’s annual Entrepreneurial Satisfaction Survey,” said CED President Monica Doss. “In response to this trend, CED’s Job Board fills an important regional need by matching a company’s hiring needs with candidates focusing on the entrepreneurial community. With the Job Board, we expect to help alleviate the ever-increasing need for great team members as our region continues to create great jobs.”
