Life Science Leaders to Discuss Globalization in Healthcare
CED and NCCBA Host Aug. 15 Forum at NC Biotech Center
July 25, 2006, Research Triangle Park, NC – The Council for Entrepreneurial Development and North Carolina Chinese Business Association (NCCBA) are co-hosting a discussion on “The Impact of Globalization in Healthcare,” scheduled for August 15 from 6-9 p.m. at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center in the RTP.
During the program, industry experts will examine how globalization and innovation are changing the healthcare and life sciences industry. Panelists will identify the latest trends and challenges in delivering affordable, quality healthcare.
Confirmed panelists include Victor Dzau, MD, Chancellor for Health Affairs, Duke University; President and CEO, Duke University Health System; Art Pappas, Managing Partner, Pappas Ventures; Dan Pelino, General Manager, IBM Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry; John Ratliff, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Quintiles Transnational Corp.; and Grace Ueng (panel moderator), Founder and CEO, Savvy Marketing Group.
