CED Finalizes Panel for March 10 Tech Forum
CED's March Tech Forum Focuses on IT Buying
March 3, 2004, Research Triangle Park, NC - The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) has finalized the speaker lineup for its next Technology Forum, “Following the Money: What IT Buyers are Buying.” The forum is set for March 10 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at MCNC in the RTP.
At CED's March Technology Forum, IT buyers and other panelists will discuss how they are setting priorities and allocating their budgets. Panelists will discuss the importance of understanding customers' buying behavior when creating a successful business model and formulating an appropriate product and sales strategy.
Confirmed panelists include the following:- John Glushik, Partner, Intersouth Partners (moderator)
- Chuck Churchill, Sr. Manager - Vendor Management and Enterprise Asset Management, Cisco Systems
- Michael Eason, Peopleclick
- John Sternbergh, Sr. VP and Chief Information Officer, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina
Panelists will address important issues related to IT buying, such as short term and long term purchasing, pain points, value propositions, and product/service selection.
