CED Sets Speaker Lineup for Second Engage Program

Area Executives and Industry Experts to Speak at Engage: Healthcare on March 31

February 11, 2004, Research Triangle Park, NC - The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) has assembled the speaker lineup for the second Engage session, which will be held March 31 at Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business. In addition to previously announced keynote speaker Bob Greczyn of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, CED's Engage: Healthcare Industry will also feature concurrent panels with successful entrepreneurs, attorneys, educators, investors and healthcare industry experts.

During three concurrent sessions at Engage: Healthcare Industry, panelists will explore healthcare's role in the entrepreneurial economy and focus on partnering opportunities, cost cutting practices and market potential for innovative technologies and services.

Engage: Healthcare Industry kicks off with these three interactive sessions at 4 p.m., followed by Greczyn's keynote address at 5 p.m. The program concludes with a networking reception from 6 to 7 p.m. The program cost is $50 for CED members and $75 for non-members.

CED hosted Engage: Finance, the first in the new program series, on Jan. 15. CED will hold the third installment of the Engage series, Engage: Marketing, in May 2004. All Engage programs consist of three core components: Knowledge (expert-led, interactive sessions conveying insights for business success), Networks (high-energy networking environment with trendsetters from all industries and company stages) and Trends (keynote who will highlight of “big picture” opportunities and obstacles).
