CED offers Workshop for Executives in Growing Companies
Workshop Exclusively Designed for Founders and Officers Facing the Challenges of Growth
Workshop participants will explore these challenges from three directions:
- Over breakfast, Dr. Jana Matthews, senior director of high growth programs at the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership will identify key issues and successful strategies that have emerged from their focus groups and studies of thousands of growth entrepreneurs throughout the U.S.
- A panel of entrepreneurs who have successfully wrestled with many of these challenges in their own companies will lead an interactive panel discussion. Panelists will include: Sara Brooks Creagh, president & CEO of Pilot Therapeutics, Inc. and former executive vice president of Quintiles; Tim Huntley, president of Ganymede Software, Inc.; Mike Shook, president, Strategic Technologies, Inc.; and Michie P. Slaughter, chairman, Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, who also served as vice president of human resources for Marion Laboratories for 17 years.
- Breakout groups of 10-12 entrepreneurs, led by trained facilitators and the panelists, will explore high-growth issues through candid, interactive discussions designed to provide tools and strategies companies can put to work.
