Entrepreneurial Know-How From 1986 to 1996 a total of approximately 7,000 people participated in CED's entrepreneurial education, mentoring and networking programs. Today the number has grown to more than 10,000 per year. CED Venture Conference presenters from 1996-2001 raised more than $1.2 billion in 1999 and 2000. More than 500 entrepreneurs have graduated from CED's FastTrac entrepreneurial training program since 1996. In 1999 and 2000 alone, CED's FastTrac graduates raised $198 million in venture capital. From its inception in October 1997 through the second quarter of 2001, CED's STREAK mentoring program coached 167 pre-venture capital companies. In 1999 and 2000 alone, STREAK participants raised $133 million.
