Expand the pipeline of potential high-growth companies

• Encourage increased development of high-growth entrepreneurial companies in traditionally under-represented groups such as women and ethnic minorities.



• Develop and expand training and mentoring programs that reach deeper into the innovation stream to identify and nurture innovations in pre-company stages.



• Increase access to CED's Future Entrepreneurs program and other youth entrepreneurship resources using Internet resources.



• Link university students and faculty with the Triangle's entrepreneurial sector and support the development of rich collegiate entrepreneurial programs in North Carolina.



• Act as a resource and role model for organizations in other areas of North Carolina that have identified entrepreneurial development goals.
