Five years ago, CED launched Future Focus-a $2 million capital campaign-that expanded the scope of CED programs to meet the resource demands and unmet needs; by increasing capital formation, expanding educational and mentoring opportunities, and improving national recognition for the Research Triangle. CED far exceeded its campaign benchmarks and program milestones. Leveraged by program revenues and additional support from businesses, foundations and individuals, the Future Focus investment supported a five-year entrepreneurial development program totaling more than $10 million.
