Endowment

Looking Forward
CED is proud of its role as the catalyst for entrepreneurial growth in the Triangle area, and the region's resulting emergence as one of the best places in the nation to start, grow, and relocate a high-growth business. As we move into a new decade, this endowment will ensure that CED is well-poised to fuel and support the area's next generation of entrepreneurs and the positive economic development they will create for our communities.

The CED Endowment Fund is managed by the Triangle Community Foundation and is currently comprised primarily of pre-liquid stock pledges by individuals who own stock in the Triangle area's emerging growth companies.

CED's goal is for individuals in the Research Triangle entrepreneurial community to make personal stock pledges to support the CED Endowment Fund. Over time, this endowment will ensure that CED is able to continue providing critical services, training, and education programs to existing and aspiring entrepreneurs and to create opportunities for continued entrepreneurial growth for this region for years to come.

The CED Endowment Fund is part of the Catalyst Project, a comprehensive community-wide initiative intended to substantially increase the amount of endowed funds to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and foundations in the Research Triangle area over the next 10 years.
