Jessica Hegele
Sr. Manager, Conferences

Jessica HegeleJessica Hegele joined CED in January of 2006 as an intern and joined full time in July 2006 as the Program Manager for Conferences. She is responsible for executing CED’s annual industry specific conferences. Maintaining conference participant communication, marketing and program content are a few of her key responsibilities. She also organizes CED’s Biotech Forums in collaboration with the NC Biotechnology Center.

Before joining CED, Jessica consulted with several companies on event management in various industries including pharmaceutical, technology, non-profit and government. She also held a Public Relations position for the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science, where she collaborated with events and publications.

Jessica graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Communication Media and a Minor in Recreational Tourism. While at NC State, she was a student member of ISES and MPA. Jessica is an avid traveler, her favorite place is Italy.
